Who we are

We're imbibe, a small brand and web studio in Atlanta and Raleigh-Durham. We built Ask My Numbers in our spare time to make our own client reports easier, and it turned out good enough to share. Each month it emails you your website numbers in plain English. You could build this yourself. We already did, so it costs about a coffee a month. Want one of us? We're $150 an hour. We don't recommend it, but we're here.

The honest pitch

Yes, you can do this yourself. If you want to put in the time and energy, you can build your own reports in Google's free tools.

We had to do it for ourselves, so we're sharing it cheap in hopes it makes your life a little easier. If we get a coffee a month of thanks from each of you, that's plenty.

The trade-off: no person on the other end of an inbox. You get a help assistant, and if you ever want a human, you can book one by the quarter hour.

How it works

Pilot: add reports@imbibe.info as a Viewer in GA4 and as a user in Search Console. The pilot covers GA4 and Search Console only.

Connect Google Analytics. We ask for read-only access. We can see your reports; we can't change anything.
We check your setup right away. If your analytics isn't GA4, isn't collecting data, or doesn't match your website, we tell you on the spot. We don't charge you until this check passes.
Add Search Console if you have it. It adds what people searched on Google to find you.
Your report arrives every month as an email with the PDF. If something stops working, the email tells you what happened.

What's in your report

The month at a glance. Visits, and how they changed from last month (and from last year, once you have a year of data).
Where people came from. Google search, other websites, social, email, direct.
What they looked at. Your top pages.
Phone vs. desktop.
What people searched to find you, if Search Console is connected.
A short plain-English summary, written from fixed rules. No jargon.

Ask My Numbers is an automated report. imbibe's managed clients get a different, hands-on report, reviewed by our team.

Google Business Profile is the last thing we're adding. No date yet.

Pricing

Locked prices. The first 30 days of the annual plan are free.

Both plans include the monthly report, the setup check, and a plain-English email when something breaks. Cancel anytime.

Why it costs so little: there's no support inbox. No salaries are being paid here.

We don't recommend it; most people never need it. For either add-on, you'll be asked to let imbibe view your report for that session. We don't look without your OK.

Ask about your numbers

After a report exists, the account page answers questions from that account's own numbers only. It does not see anyone else's reports. PLACEHOLDER: cap TBD.

FAQ

What is this, exactly?

Once a month, in the first few business days, we email you a short report on your website numbers, in plain English.

What does it cost, and when do you charge me?

$60 a year, or $7.50 a month, month to month. The annual plan starts with 30 days free. We take your card at signup but don't charge it during the free month. On either plan, nothing is charged until your GA4 setup check passes. If the check fails, we tell you why and how to fix it. Stripe handles payments; we never see your full card number.

Whether the monthly plan also gets a free month is still open.

What access do you need?

For the pilot, add reports@imbibe.info as a Viewer on the GA4 property and as a user in Search Console. We can see the reports and can't change anything.

What if my report comes back empty or something breaks?

The email tells you what happened, like "Google access expired" or "no data came in this month," and how to fix it. Whether a failed month is a pause or a credit is still open. You are not left with a blank attachment and no explanation.

Does it include my Google Business Profile?

Not yet. It's the last thing we're adding, and there's no date.

I'm already an imbibe hosting client. Do I need this?

No. Your monthly report is already included.
